SNOW DAY!!!

The kids are all playing outside, excited that we finally have snow they can play in. I came in about 5 minutes after I went out because Savannah got her hands in the snow, and couldn't deal with the stinging pain that comes with it. So I to got her and I some lunch, and hot tea. After I had been in for a little bit, Reuben came up to me in the kitchen whining that the zipper on his coat was stuck, and he needed to go potty. I got it down, and as he walked away, I noticed how large the jacket was on him (it is big and bunched up in the back). I couldn't help but giggle to myself. It was so funny, and cute! He looked like a chubby penguin.

Christmas lights!!!

I love it when people put music and lights together! Its so COOL! This is my moms favorite Mannheim Steamroller Christmas song. I like it too! ENJOY!

Hey everybody!

How was your day? Just thought I'd ask. Mine was okay. I didn't get all the laundry done, which is what I wanted to do. Also, I kept forgetting to do a job for my mom! Sorry. :)

Egg rolls!

We love eating my moms yummy egg rolls, but the big fryer we cooked them in broke. It had been broken for quite a while, so we missed the occational dinner of yummy egg rolls!  This afternoon, my mom came home with a new cooker, and egg roll fixings. Well as you can imagine, we were all excited about dinner.  Everyone got involved helping make this wonderful dinner!

First, the fillings had to be mixed together. You have to do it with your hands. Brrrr, cold hamburger!

Then you have to roll it up in the egg roll shell.

Then it needs to be fried. I like the sound of the sizzle!

We had to put more frying pans on the stove cuz the food wasn't cooking fast enough.

Savannah enjoyed just sitting and watching.

They look so GOOD!!!

Now all thats left to do, and the best part about the whole thing, ENJOY!!! Can't forget the rice!

The Northwest Youth Conference!!!

Going For The Gold

Youth conference was AWESOME!!! We had so much fun!!! The sermons were so good! And Anders and Brandon got saved, so that makes it all the better! I just wanted to post a few pics from the services and some from the trip down there and back.It was sort of overcast and rainy on the way down, but once we got there, God blessed with lots of good weather!




Carina wore her McCain Palin pin to all services but one, and that was only because she forgot it! She is so funny!



The first service opened with a torch brought down the isle to light a fire in a silver bowl on a pedestal (like they do in the Olympics), but halfway down the isle, the fire blew out. The guy tried to light it with a lighter, but couldn't. Oh well. After that the preachers were introduced, and the Birdsongs sang the national anthem.
Greg Adams welcomed everyone there. The auditorium was filled with lots of excited, screaming teens!


There was lots of good singing. This is the Birdsong family. Father, two sons, and a mother at the piano. They sing so well, and one of the songs I really like is ... I can't remember the name of it, but its really good! Lol!





Kurt Skelly is a wonderful preacher, and teens love to hear him preach! He is so funny, and serious at the same time! Steve Roberson is the same way! We teens all love them!!! (Kurt Skelly is pictured) The preaching was just what was needed to fill the alter with teary eyes, and hearts dedicated to Jesus. If I remember correctly, 19 people were saved! God is SO good!
I myself made my decision to follow Jesus with or without the company of my friends! I want to be the one that can say, "Though none go with me, still I will follow." I know my friends will come with me though, as I encourage them to read their bibles every day, and follow with me!

We had lots of fun hanging out at the hotels too! We went to the store for ice cream. "Death by ice cream." Carina said. ;)


The Westside Baptist teens were there too!!! We had fun playing soccer with them at Back to Back sports, which was the afternoon activity on Friday. I wish Mrs. Browning could have been there too! She would have had fun! Hey everyone!!!

Brandon played Wii boxing for his team. I think he won the match for them. If you listen, you can hear Mr. Browning yelling "GO BRANDON!" Its pretty funny to watch someone play a Wii game!


We had some pretty skies to enjoy on the way back. All in all, that was the BEST youth conference I ever been to! It had been a wonderful conference, and we all just relaxed and enjoyed the trip home! :)

Finally! A camera!

I have wanted my own digital camera for years. I had used my moms ALL the time! A good number of the pictures on her computer were taken by me, and she would go to use he camera and it would be almost full on pictures! Now I finally have my own! I got it on amazon.com! I like it a lot, and I can put more pics up now! Yay!

Carina and her horses

My friend Carina just had a birthday, and she invited me over to spend two nights with her. We had SO much fun!!! Her family is very nice, and I enjoyed the visit a lot!

As many of you know, I LOVE horses!!! And she has two adorable horses. Their names are "Lucky" a 25 year old quarter horse, and "Aragorn" a 3-5 year old quarter horse.
They are just so pretty!!!

What I liked most about the horses is that I got to ride one!!! It is SO much fun!!!!!!!!! I waited 18 years to ride a horse!!! The first time was about 2 months ago though, I rode Lucky. And now I got to ride him again! He is such a good horse, and easy to love (well any horse is)! I have always wanted a horse. I guess I'll have to keep waiting. Here are some pics of me and Carina riding together in the arena near their house.




Even helping her with her chores was fun!!! Especially feeding the horses, and scooping the manure (its not that bad guys!!!).

We had lots of fun doing other things too. We went to a state park and took a walk with their dogs, we played cribbage (I had to teach her and she likes the game). We had a light saber duel with glow sticks (not to certain who won that though, we cut each other up pretty bad. Lol!)
I loved the visit, and hopefully I'll get to visit them again soon. They are so much fun to be with.

My Mom

I have the BEST mom in the world, and here are some reasons why.

1. She loves me.

2. Growing up, she gave me so many younger siblings to love and cuddle.

3. She makes yummy food, and buys us treats once in a while.

4. She gets good Birthday presents (like my bunny).

5. She lets me be me, and like what I like. Even though she doesn't like what I like (my clothes! Lol!).

6. She is patiant with us. Takes a lot of patience to deal with so many kids.

7. She is the best mom.

My trip to Michaels

I needed to go to Michaels to get some fabric for a gift for a friends birthday. So my dad took me down there. I had no idea that it was the grand opening or reopening (can't remember which). So the parking lot was packed full. Since it was a big event, they had some sales going on. I found the CUTEST photo boxes for only $1 each!!! I got 5!
They are so pretty! Anyway, I didn't even get what I went there for because they don't sell fabrics anymore!!! Bummer! I had to get something else for her. It is a hard thing for me to decide what to buy, especially at a store like Michaels. So walked around for a while trying to decide. Finally I picked some really cute charm free necklaces, and a couple interchangeable heart locket charms. Even though thats not what I went there for, I'm happy with what I got. The only problem is that I want to keep them!! LOL!! I won't though.

A little help please.

I don't have any idea how make my blog have those pretty backgrounds a lot of the other ones have. I want a pretty one, one with hearts preferably. But I haven't the slightest idea how to get one. Please help!!!

Yay! I did it!

I have a blog! Now I can have the same fun I saw all you other blogger friends have!!! I am so excited! I am new to this kind of thing though. I hope I can get the hang of this quickly. It was nice to read all the blogs of people I know, and haven't talked to in a while. Hey guys!
